OUR STORY
My name is Wyatt, and I started Star Custom Coatings because I wanted to build something for myself and my family while doing work I genuinely enjoy.
Like many small businesses, Star Custom Coatings started with a simple idea: provide quality work, treat customers right, and continue improving every day. I've always had an appreciation for firearms, knives, tools, and craftsmanship, and Cerakote brought all of those interests together into a service that helps people protect and personalize the equipment they rely on.
Building this business has been a journey of learning new skills, investing in professional equipment, and working toward becoming a fully licensed Type 07 FFL manufacturer. My goal is to create a business that customers can trust and that my family can be proud of for years to come.
